Great hooker….🤣.

This is such a joyful story. I love when something unintentional happens —slip of the tongue, accidental action— that brings that much shared giddiness.

Also, your wife’s office sounds like a slice of paradise.

Oh, Rick, this is so funny, funny, funny. I just did a photo shoot today for a couple of hours, to get a good headshot for my book and other photos for what's in front of me, and I am WIPED OUT.

Instead of shutting the computer off, I thought "What the Hell -- I'll read Rick's post -- I"ll probably enjoy it, even wiped out as I am," and by golly, you surpassed yourself once again.

The moment I read this line: "She had a look that could only be duplicated by sucking a pile of lemons and inhaling the stench of unwashed athletic gear at the same time," my own belly laugh woke me up. And while my body says either "hot tub" or just relax" or "go to bed early," I am delighted: delighted by you, delighted by life, delighted by what can wake up inside when someone is being honestly human. Someone who is humble and who has a GREAT senses of humor.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for being you and for being giving (I know it probably doesn't "show up" as "giving" as you are a writer and writers just simply have to write) but still it feels "giving" and generous over here, and I am deeply grateful.

I can hardly wait for your next post.

As usual.
