I haven't yet read the book, but the essay about the writing of it I loved. That experience of midwifing something handed to you by the universe is incredibly awe-inspiring. Thanks for sharing it.

"“You’ll ruin it,” she said. “You didn’t write this. It doesn’t belong to you. If you put your fingerprints all over it you’ll lose what this is.”

Thank you Nica. It's a pretty short read actually. I hope you get a chance to enjoy it. I get the feeling you'll resonate with the thread of it, especially in light of your recent note about shying away from delight out of a felt obligation to acknowledge the suffering of others.

Dave's review is dead on. It really is an experience. While reading it, I felt my body 'wake up', seemingly recognizing a direct transmission through a channel that most books can't reach. It was a trip. The book remains on my coffee table.

Super cool to read the story of how it came to be. Thanks for sharing this, and glad that you're giving this project the exposure it deserves!

i just powered through your not book and wow i feel so at ease and one with myself. it felt very in line with the journey i'm on right now. i am being present with nothing and in that nothing i find me. what really struck me was "devotion is an act of presence-a demonstration of faith in the sufficiency of NOW." wowowowow i love that. so much of our addiction to fantasy, our addiction to more, our addiction to the person we want to be is EXACTLY what keeps us from falling in love with who we are right now. thank u for sharing and for sharing what inspired you to write.

Wow.

WOW!

Thank you again, Rick, for furnishing me with this eye-opening *experience* back when your wonderful father-in-law first handed me a copy in 2021.

Through this essay, we get to learn about the spiritual download behind the work. And for those who question whether or not we do indeed co-create with the Universe, I give you Exhibit A.

That you are providing this *experience* for FREE to anyone who wants it says a lot about you and your place in the world.

Oh how I love this story of your magical ride with the Universe, and then how you "needed" to shut it in a closet for a few years. Happy to hear you changed your mind and I can't wait to experience this non-book. Thank you.
